Black and White and green all over!

Ok so I have some black & white check couches in my living room. They are actually love seat size. I want to make some new pillows. I have b & w toile on there now. What do you think? Should I go with some color? I have a very soft green blue on the walls. I'm thinking of changing that too. I have a rock fireplace and oak wood floors. Give me some ideas please!!!! I have rearranged and painted this room waaay too many times. Help!
