Painting my kitchen cabinets

Well, I've been working on this project for quite some time! I have a north facing kitchen. There is a nice size window over the corner sink and also a French door out to the deck and back yard. But I still wouldn't call it a "sunny" kitchen. Oh and did I mention that the ceiling is low? Well the cabinets were a dark oak (1980 style) with white porcelain knobs and for the past four years every time I looked at them I gave them a warning, "I'm going to paint you!" And so I have begun. It is a lot of work but it's really transforming my kitchen. My husband pulled out the "lovely" flourescent fixtures and put in some recessed lights for me also. It's coming together and I'll post pictures as soon as I'm further along. But for today, it's more painting! So enjoy a couple of inspiration pictures I've posted and let me know what ya think! Tanya :)

  1. Kitchen Cabinets Toronto is new and fresh styles can influence the general atmosphere in the kitchen. Open the cabinet door or the kitchen cabinets are the styles that are becoming very popular. You can add wallpaper patterned on the wall behind the cabinets to enhance the overall theme of your kitchen, or you can put a solid color that matches the colors already present in it.
